The Western Cape’s Cederberg region is incredibly biodiverse and home to a vast number of indigenous fynbos species. It is only here that the caffeine free rooibos (Aspalathus linearis) grows in its natural endemic state - in conditions with lots of sunshine, deep coarse acidic sandy soils, and ranging temperatures. Rooibos is a very hardy crop and often subjected to drought conditions. This tea is sweet, earthy and rich and all caffeine free. A great late evening cup.
